What Does a Year in the Program Look Like?

You'll get three Semesters of Heroes and engaged learning.

Semester 1: Heroes Who Invent and Explore (Weeks 1–13) This semester sparks curiosity and a love for discovery as your child learns about heroes who shaped the world through innovation and exploration. Each week, they’ll dive into topics like: Farming and plants with George Washington Carver Extreme weather and mountain climbing with Sir Edmund Hillary The history of the printing press with Johannes Gutenberg The invention of the modern power grid with Nikola Tesla And that’s just the beginning—this semester is packed with hands-on activities and stories that bring these heroes to life!
Semester 2: Heroes Who Create and Entertain (Weeks 14–23): Your child’s creativity will soar as they explore the arts, sports, and architecture through the lens of inspiring creators and entertainers. Highlights include: Dance with ballerina Misty Copeland Explore the art and genius of Leonardo da Vinci Discover an appreciation of architecture with Frank Lloyd Wright Sports with additional inspiring heroes This semester is designed to nurture your child’s imagination while introducing them to a variety of creative fields.
Semester 3: Heroes Who Help (Weeks 24–36) In the final semester, your child will learn about heroes who made a difference in the world through service, leadership, and compassion. They’ll explore: Fractions and food math with Paul Newman, founder of Newman’s Own Chinese culture and philosophy with Confucius Communication and storytelling with Oprah Winfrey The semester wraps up with a cumulative review of the year and a capstone service project, complete with guided templates and ideas to help your child apply what they’ve learned in a meaningful way.
